Q

Videos play in strange, incomprehensible colours - what's the problem?

A

The videos need your monitor to be set to 16-bit colour. Do this by clicking 'Start', 'Settings', 'Control Panel'. Click the 'Display' icon and select the 'Settings'. Now, set the number of colours to at least 16 bit or 'High Colour'

Q
The 'Countdown Clock' is wrong - it does not have the correct amount of time to the next event?
A

The 'Countdown Clock' relies on your computer being set to the correct time zone. Check your time zone by double clicking the clock on your taskbar and selecting time zone.

Q
When I install the software it asks me for another CD, but I cannot find another CD, what can I do?
A

The computer is having problems reading the CD. Check the CD is clean and free from scratches and marks on the side without a label. Ensure that you are using the CD the right way up, and check that other CDs do work in your CD drive. Try the CD again.

Q
The software is not making any sound, either music or sound effects, why?
A

Check the volume and mute settings in both Windows and in the application. The sound settings are in the menu on the 'Countdown Clock'.

Q
I have installed a WAW application. When I insert the CD the setup no longer autoruns, why?
A

If a WAW application is already installed the setup program will not run using Autorun as this would be inconvenient when inserting the CD to access the pictures or videos that may not have been installed during setup.

Q
When I run the application I get '#handler not defined' or other strange messages. What should I do?
A

Remove the software completely. To do this, click Start-Programs-Where and When Sports-Setup team name. A window will open with three options. Choose 'Remove' and follow the on-screen instructions. Restart your computer. Install the software again, and ensure that you restart your computer after setup has completed. This should solve the problem.

Q
When I use the countdown clock to select a screen saver it doesn't work, how can I select a screen saver?
A

To solve this problem select any screen saver from within Control Panel>Display. From then onwards the countdown clock screen saver selector will work correctly.
